Consevatives hate Unions,but love the NRA,What does the Unions do fo it members that the NRA does not?

Conservatives hate Unions , but love the NRA and other associations . What is it that the Unions do for their members that makes you hate labor unions ?But it is ok for The NRA, The Chamber of Commerce,The Tea Party,The American Medical Association, The Republican party ,The Democratic party and others to do same things for their members ?
