What does an Honorary Page do at the senate?

I'm going to sign up to be an 'Honorary Page' at the state capitol. What do you do? The application form only says that I'm to do 'assignments'? What are those 'assignments'? are you allowed to read while sitting in the chamber? Wow aha im asking alot of questions. Someone who has done this before please help(:
